Just another lame story that's more interested in showing girls with dark hair crying actually all the fucking time 😂 than it is with writing a narrative that makes sense.
The writer invents some half-assed excuse to have the girl tremble and shake when she's going to the past, then she cries a river thinking her father is dead while we all know very well that any blonde female character would have been allowed to stay calm under the same circumstances, and to top it off she's going to enter into this ridiculous plot to become a Joseon woman just to see her father a few times.
I've seen some inane and nonsensical plots in stories that only exist to have nutcases enjoy seeing dark-haired women weep, but this takes the cake.

i really don’t have the patience for plots that hinge entirely on awful communication. it’s the height of stupidity to tell her about that method (and also, how does the aunt know it works if the person can’t come back and can’t tell the family member about their death?) and it’s even more monumentally stupid for her to give up the entire rest of her life for the chance of a couple of meetings with her father that won’t save him in the end. the whole thing just reeks of a poorly contrived plot device tbh
