I didn't expect this to end so suddenly, but on the other hand, it also does feel like the story was already told. The MC isn't, at all, the kind of person who would want to achieve anything more. He refuses to be anything more than a guild employee and he also hasn't got the personality to be anymore more. A fitting end, in retrospect.

Shame about the ending, especially since the whole last arc felt unnecessary and kind of bad writing since the MC could have handled that a lot better and made it work. Either way, looking at the source material this was all the story had to it other than some extra sex scenes. The epilogue has some bonus stories later on where Sylvia and the rest get some more loving but that's about it.

I know that it can be considered wish fullfillment, low brow, hentai-adjacent, but I feel like it could tackle a real problem and in a relaxed way and I was hoping he would find a compromise with the guild, I am not asking him to turn into a saviour of all women but he could have been a part of the movement, for example.....consider that he was surrounded by S-tier adventures and that his Guild Master found the resignation letter to be too good for him, that means those Guild girls were very good at handling writing and bureocracy..............take all this and if properly directed they could become the tools of their own emancipation.

The lovely brown elf needed just the right motivation and then she handled the divorce on her own, I think it resembles real life in a way, a lot of us have not just the potential but the skill to do something we didn't realize we could do, if we were just inspired the right way, is like the story of the elephant who remains chained with the same chain that stopped him when he was small and weak.

The ending is fine overall, have seen much worse, just think it could still do more.

Thanks for the translation! I liked the mangá, but I didn’t find the story interesting enough to go out of my way to read the LNs… What really stands out in this mangá is the “art.” If it were just for the story, it wouldn’t be worth it.
