I mean confusion over 3rd person possibly interfering in relationship is a pretty common trope in romance in general, but yeah, like 3 in 4 gl mangas or novels I've read has this exact thing compared to a 1/25 hetero romance centric mangas, and only a couple times in the BL I've read.
