Man, the layout is kinda f-ed up right now. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. Until then set the reader to vertical scroll and fit width if you're using a smartphone.
Ok they fixed it.

So for a first impression, I think this looks similar to After Rebirth: Upgrading Through Consumption but more comical and luck-based with more budget for the art and a more reputable studio.

In this one, the MC is just handed a job because the CEO thinks he's lucky and literally [not sure how to describe this] lands on the building with a parachute which is kinda funny (but more unexpected and weird for me who was expecting something more serious but it's fine).

What I like about the manhua I mentioned above is that- wait I'll just do a plot summary:
The MC Han Lie dies cuz of an accident in chapter 1, regresses back to when he was 18 but with one of those video game system thingies that gives him points for meeting certain conditions which let's him upgrade his own abilities as well gives him money for buying things, then he extorts a jerk for money, goes to a commerce/economics college, impresses everyone with his unbeatable charisma and knowledge of subjects, deals with bullies and humbles cocky rich kids and adults, uses his future knowledge to continuously make good investments, wins a competition, makes connections, slowly develops a harem which seems to keep growing (all the main girls do have personality, personal defects and their own situation), gaslights a bunch, avoids getting scammed, engages in drama (which isn't unbearable) and helps out some people, makes more investments using money from previous investments, goes on "dates" and social situations where he has to basically "win" every interaction somehow, makes some very expensive purchases, becomes the guy everyone in China wants as their relative/friend/in-law, becomes something of a superhuman, starts his own finance firm, makes even bigger investments and I think he's gonna get married or something?
Aside from that early college arc it's quite interesting.
I feel like it might have gotten axed but I'm not sure.

Not really sure what to make of this new manhwa but it feels like that manhua except it's a Korean jobless guy who already got a job because he'll presumably be good at because he has some lucky Spidey-sense.
But it's only the first chapter, let's see how this goes.
I really hope it will be done well and be more than just a luck fantasy with office drama.

Oh neat I was hoping it'd get an adaptation

Nothing wrong with having a proper job but other than the korean ver of irs or so I'd think he'd do some side hustle stuff on the side

feel like it might have gotten axed but I'm not sure.

https://www.novelupdates.com/series/even-if-he-keeps-spending-money-accumulates/ according to NU they did 200+ chapters of this series idk if there's a novel of the other series u talking about tho

Feels like it'd make for a good live adaption too lol

Hoping "striking it rich with wife's allowance" gets an adaptation too for the wholesome family moments

@Lich011 "this place" has the korean text still under it

Wow wow, thanks for the link. :meguupog:
Looks like it does get better.
idk if there's a mention of the other series u talking about tho
It's hard to navigate through Chinese stuff (especially when you don't know much Chinese)
From what I got, the series I mentioned was based on a web novel (消费系男神) which was apparently a bit darker and kinda risky because of the somewhat toxic relationships and maybe other factors like some illegal financial moves. Anyways it ended after 486 total chapters. Not sure how much it was affected by censorship. Couldn't find any proper English translations but maybe I didn't try hard enough.
The manhua has 286 chapters out (completed, probably axed) and looks like it has been fully translated by Kaynscans but it's paywalled. They also have this manhwa.

I think i did read some of the other webtoon you mentioned but got lazy

Well, there's always gonna be censorship despite the sexualized slop some harem stuff gets like the 'simp coins' or whatever

https://www.mistminthaven.com/novels/striking-it-rich-with-the-allowance-my-wife-gave-me Reading thru this right now, also an 'ability' disguised thru some 'instinct'/his heart beating faster when he comes across an opportunity, although surprised it didn't get a comedy tag bc things get ridiculous like him finding the declaration of independence. well, one 'copy' of it still valuable to sell

Incidentally Nic cage is also in it XD; (well his name was changed but it was obviously him, which makes sense b/c of copyright but they name drop other existing brands and didn't change Mike Tyson's name)

Mistmint translates a lot of stuff, maybe you could ask them tho idk if they take commissions versus requests

Am enjoying losing money to be a tycoon, wish the anime/webtoon went on for longer but it was an interesting take on a 'get rich quick' series

We know it doesn't only work in online games because we saw how he used it when he was a kid. Has he really never tried using it in the lottery, poker, mahjong?

Reading the first few pages already makes me face palm. This is gonna be the sloppiest slop that has ever slopped.

I love it.

well, it seemed to only work for games before, maybe it 'awakened' b/c of the chance his boss/guild leader gave him? I can understand the hesitance to buy a lotto ticket versus casual gambling with friends who wouldn't bet too much if they did drink and play cards together. tho idk the legality of doing loot stuff and reselling in game items or so lol
