Fuck. This ending is so so GOOD, so satisfying, especially when you understand all the characters' actions. I LOVE IT.
You should learn that when Hiiro struck Hideo out with a fastball down the middle it means every thing has been decided. This chapter is just a filler for the aftertaste.

I have read this manga so many times, but somehow I find myself re-reading it again. Love it so much. So good.

I read the Japanese version and I gotta say I don't think the ending was properly foreshadowed, a lot of things can be taken from multiple angles imo. Great manga btw
