Probably because there's nothing bigger going on. Vel is just building his domain in a rather industrial and unproblematic way, occasionally meeting some new people along the way. That's it. There's no looming danger of any sort around the corner. No deadlines.well.. kind of an empty chapter this one and last one, much talking and nothing of interest happening really :/

Um yeah. This manga tries to keep the "But then suddenly!" style of writing to a minimal. It builds up to a problem or potential problem instead of just throwing it at the reader and explain later. This manga seems the kind that just will get a random final chapter out of nowhere and that's it THE END. This whole chapter was just the characters speculating about the next chapter, it's beyond stupid at this point.
Tbh, the latest adventure they had wasn't too interesting either. The political intrigue is actually more interesting at least for me.well.. kind of an empty chapter this one and last one, much talking and nothing of interest happening really :/
yeah but it's more than the "political intrigue", there's a lot of interesting stuff that could be happening without being "a crisis" or "danger" but this extremely protracted intrigue ain't oneTbh, the latest adventure they had wasn't too interesting either.
