I actually don´t think she would be useful.

Her ability could maybe allow her to talk with the ghosts, but MC can already do that, and can also see them, At most, I could consider that she would be able to see those whom she is connected with to make it a little bit more useful.

There is one advantage though in that she can communicate over long distance, while MC has to hear/talk with them directly.

Regardless, she is likely going to be the scared type and just be content being free, and not wanting to die since MC is targeted, it's unknown if MC would even consider her trustworthy, and could just take her too as a bonus.

But she does have nice thighs, so who knows, personally I would like her to join in.
