This 1 comment has sparked something in me to do some research into the 4 Japanese character types (Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji & Romaji) and I have learnt of something called Furigana, which is Hiragana above Kanji characters when a character is rare or irregular.Big characters やり直し (kanji): Yarinaoshi (do again)
Small characters (katakana): Undo (English word)
While I'm at it, the other two
即死 sokushi: Instant Death , read as Death
反射 hansha: Reflection, read as Reflect
Alot of chuuni works do this, they use difficult/cool kanji then give equally cool (for them) English word as the reading. I said for them because the English words chosen can sometime be clumsy, so the translation team has already improved them in the translation
School is a bit complicated. I'm a teacher irl teaching English, between having to follow the syllabus, the materials being dry yet I don't have the time to research for better ones, mixed level students and students just straight up don't want to be there, learning in school is just different than learning by yourself fuelled by interest. Been trying to at least try to pique students' interest to look up things for themselves for years, and when it works, makes me happy 😁This 1 comment has sparked something in me to do some research into the 4 Japanese character types (Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji & Romaji) and I have learnt of something called Furigana, which is Hiragana above Kanji characters when a character is rare or irregular.
This is very interesting. I don't think I have ever had so much fun in learning a language before. School never make me feel like this while learning other languages!
I attend VSV (Virtual School Victoria) which is an online school in Australia. I really couldn't focus in mainstream schools.School is a bit complicated. Didn't expect that to happen in a forum discussing horny manga though 😂
A nullyfying ability?![]()
Another snippet on why Piston is the wisest out of the group.
Nice recap on what's going on in the story currently. Can't beat a full-body swimwear on Nirasawa and Ririka! Nirasawa and Hiroto do look like a cute couple in this chapter even if their past history is anything but cute...
Now I wonder what would be the dream ability user Hiroto needs to hijack in order to defeat his stepsister. Some type of nullifying ability that can ignore the stepsister's reflection ability?
I figure if they're going down that route, Hiroto needs some way to access a database of ability users and focus his attention on the right one(s). Not only that would be helpful instead of leapfrogging on intel from his captured targets but doing that will most likely get Hiroto involved in the government or the school's conspiracy of whatever they're plotting behind the scenes and make him alter his goals from only trying to survive into him trying to make men more equal in society.
Seriously, I figure once Hiroto gets deeper into the main conspiracy in the story, he needs to use his ghosts to spy on his enemies in order to get some advantage. It worked out in his favor when he was playing the card game vs. Ririka(more or less).
Come on Hiroto, think about it.
Thanks for the update, Heat.
