You know, people call this smut and trash talk this manga a ton. I think its great. Original characters, and an original story. Each character has there hangups. It shows what depths people are willing to sink to in order to achieve there goals. Shows the crap side of show business, and the porn industry. And it is a well drawn, way over the top actions scenes. But i guess people only like stuff they've seen 100 times over. An OP genious protag in a different world. Like kuma kuma bear. Nothing original about it. (Cept maybe she helps peeps help themselves but thats it)
@DigiTrash she had sex with an anteater early on so now the tag stuck with it. There's other degeneracy, and over all bad taste and lowbrow stuff in here, so it would be a hard argument to remove the tag.
And if nothing else it sticks because of how dumb the story is, the guy saying that it shows the bad side of the porn industry is talking as if this manga was a documentary, it is a secret of the sex business that pimp up models have to engage in gladiatorial battles in order to avoid becoming porn-stars XD.
Holy shit..... Real life adaptation of this manga? Hope its wacky enough like the manga. The actress portraying Misora is hot, I wonder who act as Sarah....
Takato makes amazing fighting scenes, I really don’t understand why he constantly balances on the verge of hentai or why he decided that he is not suitable for Shonen Jump.
@DigiTrash Part of future chapters will be almost natural straight / yuri hentai in one way or another. After which the author will again begin to be salty due to the fact that he was "kicked out" of Shonen Jump.
@Nikosgarofola I would not call it stupid smut, but you read too deeply, really. It could be a great action if it were just ecchi, but due to the somewhat awkward use of the porn theme, the feeling that the author is stuck between two works constantly appears. At least I would not call a “deep” work, where the author perceives lesbian relationships as “preserving female chastity” or puts characters in a weird situation only as an excuse for a new hentai scene.
@Doomroar From some point on, she becomes an official couple with one of the girls and thanks to this, she is practically completely removed from any "Porn Star" thematic plot. I understand that there are many reasons for this, but in any case, from some point Misora just becomes an observer to this.
@SuperOniichan really is it too hard to accept the fact that the author is just a degenerate pervert? he does it because he likes it, go read chapter for of the gaiden, you will have a hard time trying to deny that his thing is drawing pseudo hentai if not hentai.
Also lets face it, most people got here because of the porn theme, the fights as great as the choreography may be, are quite uninteresting because the world building that surrounds them is boring, he could just make a silent fighting manga, no plot just fights, and it would work even better.
@Doomroar The author is really married and has a child, not to mention the fact that he once wrote one-shots for Shonen Jump or an adaptation of Teken 5. . Moreover, some arcs gave me the impression that he really wanted to write some kind of hyped action shonen manga. I don’t think that everything is so bad.
I am extremely salty due to a completely idiotic romantic subplot, but I do not think that in general this work is very different from the usual near-hentai ecchi manga. If their relationship became more logical and thoughtful and the author did not try to portray a lesbian relationship as "she is fucking with another woman so that I can made hentai with her while preserving her chastity", then I would not complain at all.
Perverts get married and reproduce all the time, that doesn't stop them from being perverts, the author of Rurouni Kenshin who is married too, watches child pornography and he has a series being serialized on a monthly magazine of Jump right now, so what is your point?
This particular author puts the pervert things that he likes and inserts them in his work, that's his thing, just reread the manga and count the fetishes, hell i bet he didn't draw the time Sarah lost her virginity after being raped by her step father because the editor stopped him on time.
Sorry but this manga is not near-hentai, it is pseudo hentai, it has explicit sex on it with surrounding elements from other genres mainly martial arts, things like:

The entirety of chapter 9, all of it, hell it is easier to find the pages without sex than the ones with sex for that one.

It is a very different work compared to your usual ecchi battle manga with Clothing Damage for an excuse to put nudity on it, in here people get fucked.
There you go @DigiTrash i went and made a compilation of the sex scenes, that's why it has the smut tag, after chapter 13 the manga does get more mild, but still has nudity.
After the reread, i must say the fights are actually quite meh, the plot is quite dumb, and it is the depravity what really makes this manga differentiate itself from the rest, as it stands this manga is pretty much just shock factor, if the backlash he got from the gaiden forced him to tone it down i wont be surprised, after all we did got 13 chapters in which someone got fucked at least once.
@Doomroar You want to say that some parts of the plot look idiotic and clumsy not because of the author’s weak skills, but because he, like a horny teen boy, thoughtlessly drops his pervert libido there?
@SuperOniichan Both really, being incapable of controlling his impulses doesn't means everything else has to be sloppy, there are hentai out there with decent plot.
@Doomroar I agree. But in this case, I got a terrible fire in the ass when I saw how lazy the romantic line got Misora. I understand that it is extremely ridiculous to be salty because of the plot in such a manga, but I react very hard when the characters I like get weakly motivated romance.
@Krune Dude, in manga and discussion already written a bunch of times. MC already has her love interest and she will have no other romances at least for this moment.
@SuperOniichan And whose currently her love interest? Because while true I haven't reread the entire series up to this point recently, but I don't recall it being pointed out by Misora that she has a love interest currently. I've seen that they've set up potential interests such as the guy who almost beat her in the 100 man gauntlet, Sarah as shown in the chapter where Misora goes over to her apartment, as well as the member of her quartet whom she sought advice from regarding her down south issue. But I don't seem to recall in any of those cases Misora considering returning their attention, behavior, or in Sarah's case flat out advances. Secondly its a fanservice manga with a variety of female characters so people are bound to ship whomever they feel like. Even if she does have a current love interest it doesn't make it wrong if I were to prefer her with a different character.
