Like if we go back to the ch. 30 and ch. 31, there is an indication that they (MC and the girl) used the condom that the girl bought, and the next day the girl got graped by her stepdad. On ch. 28, the nurse said "she's 16 weeks pregnant" 16 weeks = 3/4 months. The MC and the girl did it in September 17, and after that day the girl went back to her house and got graped by his step dad. And this December, they went to the hospital, and the nurse confirmed that she got pregnant. It means 70% that the father of her child is her stepfather. To me, it seems more likely that Hasumi is the father. I explained this in my post with the timeline of the events in Chapter 34, but here it is again:

So when chapter 28 revealed that Kaoru was 16 weeks pregnant, I decided to run the numbers. The exam—probably an ultrasound—was done on December 25th. Counting back 16 weeks puts the conception date around September 5th.

But in chapter 31, it’s heavily implied that Kaoru and Hasumi had unprotected sex on September 18th. Looking back on the events of September 17 and 18:

September 17th

??:?? – Flashback – The mother's boyfriend appears at Kaoru's house with the intention of raping her. Kaoru's mother has already abandoned her. Kaoru begs the bastard to wait one more day, claiming to be on her period. – Chapter 12

16:20 - Flashback - Kaoru arrives at Hasumi’s house soaking wet from the heavy rain. She says she has a favor to ask, then offers him a box of condoms and asks him to be her first. - Chapter 30

September 18th

??:?? - ~16:40 - Flashback - Hasumi wakes up with Kaoru sleeping beside him. In the trash, we see an empty condom box and several used ones, suggesting they used them all. It's also suggested that they kept doing it without protection until around 16:40. Later, Kaoru gets dressed and tells Hasumi she needs to head home before it gets dark. After returning home, she is raped by her mother’s boyfriend. - Chapter 31

I thoroughly researched the accuracy of ultrasounds (I asked ChatGPT):

• In the first trimester (7–13 weeks), dating is accurate to within ±3–5 days.
• In the second trimester (14–20 weeks), the margin of error increases to ±7–10 days.

Even using the maximum margin of error, that only gets us to around September 15th—still too early. Based on that, Kaoru should be about 14 weeks pregnant, not 16.

Also, in chapter 34, which takes place on September 22nd, we see condoms in Kaoru’s house, suggesting that her mother’s boyfriend probably didn’t have unprotected sex with her—so the baby is most likely Hasumi’s.

I read it back, you're right! I didn't notice that they did it again in the morning

Also, in chapter 34, which takes place on September 22nd, we see condoms in Kaoru’s house, suggesting that her mother’s boyfriend probably didn’t have unprotected sex with her—so the baby is most likely Hasumi’s.
