This first chapter was very interesting and a really good way to get the reader invested. So I'm hoping the letter writer is from a student, perhaps ironically in the same year/younger than the MC. Rather than the librarian/a teacher because if it is I'm out.

Wow that was a thrilling first chapter! The weird faceless flower onee-sama, the full pages to scale of the letters!!! I'm a huge fan of Class S, Maria-sama, and everything related to it, so seeing it get discussed in a meta way and desired by a regular modern girl is so cool. So much wish fulfillment there for the reader, someone getting to try that experiment you secretly wished for.

Really looking forward to more of this. I love learning about the history and culture around yuri, including class S, so I am very interested to see how this author's take on the tropes and genres will blossom.

Edit: and is there any chance that you might be interested in uploading this on dynasty-scans as well? A series like this really feels like it belongs there.

This was really good. Excellent art, and the writing is surprisingly good; I got a great feel for Kasumi as a character and all the dialogue felt natural. Thanks a lot for the translation!!

My theory is the letter writer is the girl on the right of this panel. It feels too much like a typical "character passes by the other one" missed connection composition.

EDIT: And I second the suggestion to upload it on dynasty scans. If you haven't done it before it's pretty easy, you fill out this form and include a link to a Google drive or something containing the scanlated pages.

Unfortunately even though I don't like student x teacher stories, I do think it's a likely possibility that it's a teacher or the librarian. I'm just getting that kind of vibe from the story. Especially since the teacher would be like a mega onee-san from the age gap lol

We're only one chapter in, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the author does something interesting with this. I don't think something that is self aware enough to refer to "S" relationships is going to just define itself as a typical rip-off of classic stuff.

Least I have my fingers crossed.

More than that, the book series that serves as the hiding place for their letters is Hanamonogatari. These books exist in real life; they collect stories by Nobuko Yoshiya, a prominent author in Class S literature, who was active in the Taisho and Showa era and was in fact a lesbian.
