Certainly not an expert in Japanese but it looks like the line itself is kinda weirdly written, maybe to reflect how freaking insane the dude is.

my best guess is this is him basically saying, “you couldn’t have been happy without me”. You must have been miserable, sad, pathetic, etc.

Tbh in situations like these, in any other story, usually characters reflect on some mutual memories to convince the other party. Here though, it feels like, the only party that really knew her was her maid and their entire confrontation sounded stupid. If I were in her brother's shoes, I'd probably lose my cool and try to stab Ridelle reincarnation for pretending to be my sister and smearing my memories of her too. Girl, you better have a better explanation...

Guess she had ruby slippers! No actually, she took a horse (went to check on chapter 2) to escape.
Though that's the least part that bothers me, these characters always manage to slip away.

I call Ethan playing a risky game and he lost all the stakes, and Mina played along after seeing what she saw with Oscar, Mina feels guilty altogether and Ethan takes it out on Oscar out of escapism.

That's a pretty good assumption; however, it's a bit difficult for me to imagine the author to be capable of pulling something of the sort.

Spoiler: Miina

It start with her just wanting attention from her mother, who's always prioritize taking care of Ridelle.
So while Ridelle pull Miina into her circle, from Miina side Ridelle is the one with everything Miina wanted.

She eventually choose to try and side with Ethan after Ridelle chose to marry Oscar, who obviously just use has a a tool to separate Ridelle and Oscar.
(Miina would tell Oscar that Ridelle is still sick and he should visit her later, and tell Ridelle Oscar didn't visit, etc)

Even the whole bandit thing was planned, to let the kidnapping happen and smear Oscar's name then Ethan can demand Ridelle back.
(the plan was Miina would leave and lock the carriage, then the bandit would take that along with Ridelle)
Until it goes awry with Ridelle's suicide, and Ethan immediately discarded her.

At first Miina was going to avoid her own conscience by throwing blames at Oscar, until she saw Ethan took his eye.
Then she finally admit her own faults.

Wallow in regret, she even contemplated suicide but couldn't do it.
It was during that time that Oscar asked her to take care of Emilia, and that was the one thing she dedicated her time to as atonement.
