id be pretty shocked, this really isnt a drama type of manga

it seems like a pretty candid representation of the author's experiences (or the experiences of someone close to them, they wouldnt just shoehorn in a bad thing happening for plot

that said it wouldnt surprise me if we learn about his parents given how it was brushed over earlier and how viscerally they were against his transition
