Good on her for saying it straight-up, that he needs to say if something's wrong. He can clearly tell that she treats him differently than other people, in a positive way, but his math grades must be absolute shit because he still can't seem to put two and two together.

Son, here's a little wisdom for you : "If you wait on others approval to be happy, you never will be !"

Plus, do you really think that anybody would be happy if you stopped talking to them suddenly without explanation ?

these recent chapters did not spark joy...

his friend is a good guy but I really really REALLY could do without him being a wisdom machine that has to fix up MCs mental every time and do his thinking.
MC was able to do it in the start.. why is he suddenly unable to do any reflection?

So tired of the spineless MCs, man. You can be anxious and introverted without being willing to hurt someone you care about.

This trope sucks because it makes the protagonist seem insecure  and stupid, rather than just insecure.

this type of mentality really piss me off
''ooo i'm gonna avoid the person at all cost with lame excuses''
any person with half a brain would see what is happening and be upset yet authors keep doing this shit

It’s such a basic trope, the guy only has two friends and one is the most outgoing person in the class, and the other is an outcast (but actually pretty) girl he suddenly starts developing feelings for and all of this happens in such a short amount of time. People don’t go through major personality changes that fast, an insecure, socially clueless guy can’t suddenly become an expert at friendship just because someone gives him advice. It feels rushed and unrealistic, honestly, it’s a very overused trope and I don't dislike it, he was so blindly happy about being with her that the first bad thing make him break into a lot of overthinking

I'm starting to realize that our MC isnt the sharpest tool in the shed cuz how are you going to finally bridge that gap between you and your crush and one off comment from a mob character is enough to make you do the literal inverse of what you did prior.

For Fuck sake man, your homie literally told you "if you've got a problem concern your girl, why dont you talk to her". Nah, let's avoid her, that'll work. I'm just glad Haimiya shut that shit down quick and said literally what he should have done from the beginning. Talk to her

istg 99.9% of romcom tropes can be solved if they just communicated like human beings.
