So he was honest just now, when will it be her turn? He’s been working hard and pretty much been pushed to his back foot the whole time. On the other hand, she’s been in control from day one, when are we going to get her to actually be brave herself?

I won't be surprised if she doesn't.

Despite what she says, she cares about MC's opinion of her very much, so much so that she took his initial behavior around her in mind and responded quite clearly.

Now that she knows what was between the lines of his actions and how other people's opinions affected him, even indirectly when they weren't about him, she'll be too scared to be direct, herself, and just relish the moments they have together as friends at an agonizingly slow pace, waiting until he makes the next move to progress their relationship.

That is, unless a new girl is introduced to the cast who's more of a threat to her than MC's new extroverted sporty guy friend.

That's my guess of how this series will go and I'm marking it here in the thread.
