apparently its unladylike or whatever to eat ramen [ strong spices, high calories and garlic ] - atleast that what I gather form other manga

( I also don't think so lol but the whole chapter was silly logic wise anyway )
So the logic is supposed to be it is unladylike for the person who already does not act lady like to not act lady like? Ok. Not the stupidest reason ive seen in manga lamo.

Not just ramen, which is already a bit unladylike and hard to eat with poise and dignity, but a specific style of thick, fatty, un-soup-like spicy crap that towers out of its dish and stanks up the joint. There are stereotypes about the kind of people who eat this. Google "jiro-kei" if you're curious - it's not universally loved, but people who are into it are WAY into it. Even if it looks like somebody unclogged a drain into a soup bowl.

God, I hate the new character
She could be fun, like your regular sneaky snake foiled by Haimiya's directness and no-nonsense approach already demonstrated multiple times before (like her getting up in MC's face about him avoiding her and telling him to just speak his mind).
But for some stupid reason, author decided to make Haimiya fold to her with 0 explanation or sense, even After saying that she can buzz off and Haimiya has no reason to care about anything she says or does (which was great), but then she just... does it???

Googling it, it looks good ngl. Tho seeing as how Japan likes small portions, I am guessing foodies and others who enjoy things like that are prob seen as a "overindulgent" to put it kindly?

Still surprised out FMC cares since she could care less about most things. But I guess a woman in love cares about her secrets not being exposed to her crush.

Yeah, except he already knows and they have plans to go eat it together so... This chapter's so damn weird.

I forgot about that. hmmmmmmmmm. Only thing I can think of she is afraid MC will do something dumb worrying about her reputation again. But author really doesnt make it clear why FMC cares so.

Also, nice PFP. I love that manga. Art style of it is very cool.

Well, luckily she ain't a homewrecker. Or so it seems~
Vsauce theme plays

Koyuki's blackmail seem a bit weak. But why would she be targetting Haimiya specifically?
We saw in this panel that Koyuki has friends, so she could've just asked either one of them to hold their shifts.

So, why of all people, would she choose Haimiya?
There might be a chance that she wants to get to know her in a way, but decided to do so in a roundabout way. By making Haimya do this part-time of Koyuki, basically introducing herself. Cuz when it comes to romcoms, saying that a character has a part-time job is like them revealing a big secret

So her getting Haimiya to cover for her shift was her way of saying "This is me. This is my life."

We'll be seeing what Haimiya will do here in the daycare. And we'll be seeing the things that Koyuki usually does here, like maybe the other people working on the daycare would talk about Koyuki, or the kids themselves would talk about her.
I love this way of introducing her, and we'll also see if she's a nice girl. But if she works in a daycare, Imma say that Koyuki is exceedingly nice and caring. Well, even her weak ass blackmail suggest she is nice.

Where’d our dominant FMC go that she’d so easily get bullied into doing someone’s bidding? Genuinely feels to out of place and unnecessary.
