As I keep saying in prior chapters (including my second comment/reply), no one, including myself, is condoning her actions b/c plain and simple: they were bad. Just as well, no one can make you like her character, so if you don't, that's fine.

It just baffles me how people still find ways to make some characters worse than how they present themselves at first to the point of thinking that they're beyond development, even though they've done nothing but develop.

They all talked, the smoke is clear. Say what you will in terms of how you feel about it or the character(s), but that shouldn't be a problem.
Nobody made he worse but the author. Maybe just Maybe ppl dont like FUCKING BLACKMAIL and MANIPULATION and chose not to fuck with her character. You and ppl like you made them out to be terrible because you're ok with the outcome and they're not. Ok she apologized that doesn't mean ppl have to like her

Yeah but black mail is black mail bro. Her learning from her mistakes doesn't matter when we're talking about the fact that she's a bit off her rocker for black mailing in the first place
Exactly! I dont get why ppl can't understand this.

I think some people have problems forgiving. Anger and hatred feels good after all. Hopefully from here on out she will be less of a crazy person.

Though actually, comsidering the convoluted way she was introduced, I kinda hope she stays crazy. Make this an intrinsic part of her character, she always has to take the indirect route. It would make this weird introduction make sense.
Ppl dont like her crazy actions, you say ppl have problems forgiving but want her to stay crazy which is the reason ppl dont like her in the first place?

This and that are two seperate things.

People having trouble forgiving her has nothing to do with my thoughts on her introduction or character.

And I speak for myself when I say that I never said you guys were terrible for feeling the way you do about this or how the author chose to write her for that matter, b/c you feeling that way at all in either regard is not the problem. Why I keep having to repeat that no one can make you like her is beyond me at this point.

Look, you've at least acknowledged her development by bringing up her apology, which is good b/c that's the point. Still don't like her? That. Is. Fine. I'm never gonna say you have to, nor am I villainizing ANYONE for hating manipulative blackmail since THAT would be weird. In fact, in a prior comment, my gripe with her was the fact that she chose that at all, since I don't like blackmail. Hell, if at any point she chooses to persist with that, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

No one (you included) is in the wrong for choosing to dislike her despite the outcome b/c blackmail shouldn't have been an option. We all (hopefully) hold her accountable in that regard. Just as well, all of this could've been handled better. However, if you think people are weird/wrong for choosing to like her after approaching this whole ordeal with nuance, then I genuinely don't know what to tell you beyond this: to each their own.

People don't want to admit it, but this was a pretty healthy conflict resolution. No one, not a single person outside of Koyuki, said she had a good plan or did a good job. But the readers don't want to accept that you can look past actions and see the intent behind them like Haimiya did. Koyuki recognized in the end that she shouldn't have done what she did and reflected, and the affected party chose to forgive and befriend her. That's pretty wholesome and a realistic interaction.

Edit: Just gotta remember that these are the same readers that call any isekai MC's who don't murder hobo anyone who looks in their general direction "spineless" and at the same time call the isekai MCs who do murder hobo "edgelords". You can't win with them, they will find something to complain about.
I agree with everything here

Unfortunate as it is that some (of a small minority mind you) think it would cost them anything to acknowledge a healthy development regardless of whether or not they like it, at least the rest of us know what's up, so I'm good 👍.

Despite the sheer stupidity of the Koyuki's logic, she's cute and I hope we see more of her. Thank you for the translation.
