She did say she had a onee-chan (during the flashback when she looked at her sis' laptop), so assuming sis is a licensed professional and either works or runs a beauty/tattoo kind of place for a living then her older sister could have done it for her.

With the MC's kind of crippling social anxiety a older family member giving her piercings and styling her hair with those highlights and whatnot in a attempt to possibly boost her confidence a little is pretty believable.

It seems a lot of people here don't know much about piercings. My daughter has an industrial so I've asked her about it before.

The only ear piercings that can be done with a gun or with those spring-loaded clickers that people are talking about being readily available online (while lol-ing) are for the fleshy part of the ear (the earlobe).

I didn't know that it is Pixiv, it could be the author getting bored of the series so they want to wrap it up quickly. A personal axing compared to the regular type.
