I just was caught off-guard, because even if it's been a hot minute since this series updated here, the jump in quality seemed marked, and initially I wasn't sure if it was an actual increase in skill on their part or if it was some other factor.

But if it's actual skill, then good for the author; every artist wants to see themselves improve, after all.

It might've, I think since volume 5 ish I've really liked the art overall, volume 6 or 7 is when it started to get unhinged and that's given a lot more room for super horny and creative shenanigans.

Nice to not have a despicable villain for this upcoming arc (I fucking hope).

of course - it was just noticeable for me from last chapter to this one. A "jump", rather than a gradual shift.

But looking back at previous chapters, I think it's more that it'd just been awhile since I last saw work from the artist, so the improvement seemed more stark & sudden than it likely actually is.

I checked the author's Twitter timeline just to be sure, and I can safely say it has something to do with the upload. Because they now match the same crispness as his Twitter. Like literally same exact images from previous chapters look better on Twitter.
