When I think about it, I kinda wish Miyata also left featherweight. Probably could be a complete boxer at slightly higher weight class instead of relying on counters; and yet he persistently waits for Ippo who’s just enjoying his “retirement “.....

They actually mentioned it in a previous chapter I believe. Miyata's body type is better for Lightweight and his refusal to go up is affecting him.
