Just like the fight. That was a rather short chapter.
Like, it was over before I fully grasped it
Sendo focus to grew his physicality than technique.Takamura demolished him with two punches, and Ricardo will be capable of doing that too. Woli/Hawk aside, Sendo is the one who got the furthest on talent alone, and him beating Ricardo would be just as bad as Woli beating Ricardo. He was never shown as being a boxer with good technique, and never improved. He's still just winging it on power/instincts, and every good boxer that fought him properly/didn't get overwhelmed mowed him down, with his win against Volg being a sham decision, and the one against Alfredo being pretty bad too.
Every single boxer in this manga trained to be faster/stronger etc, some more than others, some better than others. Alfredo was basically Sendo but after losing to Ricardo he decided to improve his techniques and became a complete world class boxer and was pummeling Sendo for a few chapters. But Sendo had the power of plot armor and infinite attack so he still won in the end. Sendo never tried to become a better boxer, always pulling off the tiger instinct nonsense, even now that he's facing the world champion.Sendo focus to grew his physicality than technique.
He train get his punch stronger, train his leg to move faster, and so on. He tried to compensate the lack of technique on pure instinct.
but it seems that kind of focus have started to reach its limit. Especially, compared to Takamura who have more balanced physicality and technique training (and still have good instinct too).
and agreed that more tech focused miata will be better training buddy, but he need that rude awakening from Takamura first.
Yes, yes he is. Don't know about real boxers (irl I mean), but it's starting to look outside of the realm of plausibility.isn't Takamura the best boxer in all this series though, with all those world championships
