classic Ippo, Morikawa is just too consistentI would not have been surprised if they had milked another 3-4 chapters from this interlude, but damn, they fast forwarded with a vengeance. Everyone not Takamura or Ippo continue their mediocrity, Takamura's an ass as usual, Kamogawa does not display any death flags for once, and Miyata, at long last, MIYATA... looks down on Ippo from a moderate height. Wow. It's like there was a ton of development, but without development at the same time.
Gundam Mermaid, from G-Gundam. Seems Old Mori's been on a recent binge of the show, hence the reference last chapter to the Guiana Highlands, a rather important location in the show where one finds true enlightenment, or something like that. What fish is his costume supposed to be based on?
The Bison one was an unification title not a new weight so he has 4 belts but 3 weight classesTakamura has 4 belts now I see. Did I miss him conquering a fourth world title? I feel like I'm losing count.
Thanks, that explains a lot!Gundam Mermaid, from G-Gundam. Seems Old Mori's been on a recent binge of the show, hence the reference last chapter to the Guiana Highlands, a rather important location in the show where one finds true enlightenment, or something like that.
Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying! The Bison one was an unification title not a new weight so he has 4 belts but 3 weight classes
Wait, what happened with the guy with the gun? Who was going to fight again? oh right, Mashiba... You know what? I hope he just brings a gun and ends up killing Mashiba from out of the ring. I mean it.Genuinely shocked that George off screened 3 fights and one of them was even a Takamura fight.
