I don't know if it was intentional, but thank you for delaying the release until you had both of these chapters. If it was only the last chapter I would have been really annoyed at the ending of it.

This latest chapter has a much better ending note.

The hits. The guys watching said Ippo hit Mashiba twice but Itagaki showed them that it was actually three times.

I wonder if switching tempos is part of the rosario imitation or if ippo just picked it up by himself. Just that combined with him being able to swap pivots is a huge difference from when he was active

People in the crowd were saying Ippo hit Mashiba twice, but that's wrong, Ippo hit Mashiba's body twice and one in the head. That's why he holds up 3 fingers. You can see Ippo doing this in the training sequence. Also, this is a Mike Tyson-ism. Get the opponent to guard the body to open up head shots.
