moirkawas writing choices are so questionable. His ippo/miyata fixation was already weird and now miyata who was a boxer before he met ippo and had his own dreams and aspirations doesn't have the desire to be a world champ anymore? This doesn't make any sense he was the one that initially off put their pro rematach and went for randy boy jr. But now its like hes regressed as a character and even changed because of this stupid punch drunk plot line morikawa wants to illustrate.
