"for research" I know it must be for drawing material or something but my mind just thought about something else 😂

"Just watch brat, this is the basic of boxing I didn't teach you while you became the japanese champion". 1200 chapters in and we needed what? 500 chapters to make Ippo learn something new? At this point I wish I haven't started reading this. wth

Why am I still reading this? Is the author really planning on continuing the manga until it gets canceled? Feels fucking shameful. I've spent a decade reading this and it's going out with this pathetic fucking whimper.

It's weird when you're reading a manga with 1266 chapters, and a nice portion of it feels like literal filler. At least the fight chapters, and flashback stories are worth it,but the drawn-out training for endless amount of chapters tends to put me off then later binge the manga months later just so I can read fighting chapters."The Author will be taking a break for research."Hmmm...🤔Better be research which damn direction he wants to go with this manga.Bring Ippo back into boxing or have it go out with a pathetic ending.Imagine the decades of readers that picked up this manga end up getting a total shit ending.I know I'll be pissed.I really want to see Ippo take on Ricardo Martinez, and even get his fight with Miyata.

Well at least with that trainer "filler" that isn't even filler prevents people from saying the characters don't work for ANY of their wins

@OtakuDragonslayer I'm using filler loosely. The mass majority of those training chapters could've been cut down some, instead of 20+chapters of the same dialogue, and repeating panels of the same training routine chapter after chapter. It gets old and monotonous.Every boxer in the Kamagawa Gym works their butts off to win, even if all that hard work didn't help them win 100%-at least they were able to get damn close. One type of training I miss the group doing,is going to the mountain/countryside to work on their movements;even new moves. Those types of training chapters are actually interesting, instead of watching them train at the gym or in the city constantly. That's just my opinion, though.?
