Saeki came into the fight with a plan, and Itagaki came in with... nothing? No plan, really?
The coach is just bad. He didn't teach his fighter how to fight against Saeki. It's not like Saeki is a new boxer out of nowhere.

So far we haven't been given any reason to root for Itagaki, but knowing the kinda Disney turns these fights take, I feel some hail Mary move will give him the edge against Saeki sooner or later :/ Morikawa should at least make us try and root for Manabu.
