I don’t think there has been any plot at all since they graduated High School to be honest.

When it comes to their relationship it pretty much stagnated ever since the first chapter of the college saga. We got an arc with Karin "dating" Yukana that had some potential to do something with this relationship, but it didn't go anywhere. We where supoused to get an arc with Gokomachi, but it turned into another Himiko arc (damn I hated her arc in the original manga and I hate her second arc even more). Then the focus was the manga club: again Karin, The new loli mangaka, and Nene. Yukana got shafted so hard that even she realized it and got pissed. This arc started with Junichi wanting to do something about it, but instead we get this crap.
