It really felt like there was an opportunity for a cathartic conversation here, but I feel like the author just isn't a skilled enough writer to be able to produce something like that, so it all devolves into complete nonsense instead. Guy's like "I'm gonna put her at ease", she's like "holy shit", other chick is like "I can use this as inspiration", guy aborts from his previous plan to go like "huh, now you understand romance?" and she's like "NOPE, I DON'T GET ANYTHING, I'M JUST DOING RANDOM SHIT FOR NO REASON AND INTERRUPTING WHAT COULD'VE BEEN A PERFECTLY GOOD SCENE WITHOUT ARRIVING AT ANYTHING SUBSTANTIAL AT ALL". And if I know this manga, the next chapter he's gonna be like "MAYBE I'LL HAVE SEX NOW" and then he won't.
