Feels like all the drama has drowned out, and washed all the development away. That happened in the early chapters. The anime was good, but now all of that is gone. I got to say it. I very much dislike dojin girl, and the drama she has caused. Yukana two timing, and now idiot is getting sucked in too. Mc will make a bad decision, and Yukana will miss understand, and drama will ensue again. Even though still feels like Yukana is still dating dojin girl. The premise was just for the Dojin, but still. Author has not addressed it directly or mentioned it sense whether Yukana is still actually dating dojin girl.

The "relationship" was clearly fake though. No one in the story took that seriously. They all understood that it was just for manga prep. I don't think the author will mention it again because it's not like the girls are acting like it still means something. It was a joke. Bad joke but a joke.

The issue is that this manga has turned into an unofficial harem manga. It's not just friends hanging out because there's (coincidentally, wink wink) not a single guy in this "friend group." Just a harem without saying it and not what the story was originally or what its audience was trained to expect. Completely new (and irritating) genre and it's been spinning in circles. This is why Yukana is getting such little air time, and their relationship is stagnant. Because she's now just the "head wife" of a trashy harem and is being treated like it.
