Nice contrast going on between Eko and Miya so far. One was gradually neglected more and more until her emotional intelligence (and self-awareness) became a mess, the other was suddenly stripped off of her seemingly normal development and even morality because of warped over-protectiveness. Hell, even in the final moments of their mothers, one tucked herself in the winter uniform, the other was completely naked.

I'm not trusting we have the full story about why and how Miya is screwed up. She didn't have to kill, but she was set on it. Her mother is no role model but she did hold back a daughter capable of killing someone too weak to stop her from leaving. Assuming Miya's (naked) aggression is who she is deep down, that probably predates the start of the story and the latest confinement.

They're ruthless but I'd rather have Eko and Miya get along for a bit. Because their lack of compunctions can be even more devious and menacing if they're sharing a goal.

the only question i would ask is about her mother, how she become such extremes and did these to her daughter, I think Miya is not so much unhinge as MC, "She didn't have to kill", but is she ? she even question is this the only way. as kid, they are not the most capable off or have the most throughout mind. Also take into account she raised by someone such as this, she may not have the common sense knowlege other kid same age have.
