Going with the misunderstanding angle sounds meh. Perhaps a better story would be role reversal, where her strength lets her look after him, or slapstick comedy where she wants to be protected as old times but freakish strength as a side effect of experimental treatment causes all sorts of mayhem.

The idea is nice.
But you either had to make the MC an absolute idiot for not noticing it, making the class not telling the MC for some reason, or make the heroine failed to show that she is actually healthy, for each chapter. It's hard to expand it beyond a few chapter.
