This extra is why I found Kagari concern over public knowledge of her and Seven to be strange. Perhaps my memory fails me (I forgot most of the events of the chapters leading up to a recent one), but that talk about "the things she does" with him being "secret" seemed to come out of left field--in fact, that crippling worry over society's disapproval of their relationship is something that Seven does in his cowardice, not Kagari.

Then again, I don't remember the way Kagari dealt with such a situation in the past.

Still, for the story to have them both engaging in this behavior is just plunging it into the trite romcom shenanigans such stories are known for. The artist's fear of large breasts is one thing (and if there are any stickerpusses ready to bare their milk teeth at me over this, they need to pay better attention to the art), but to inject fear of society into Kagari's cute assertiveness (and, in so doing, limit it) further diminishes the charm of this manga.

Serious talk here: it really completely baffles me when guys ask their significant other to “hide the goods” like that. I’ve always been extremely proud of being the one who bangs the neighborhood hottie, obviously I enjoy showing her off… Like “watch all you like and seethe in envy, ’cause I’m the one drilling those holes tonight”, amiright?

Serious talk here: it really completely baffles me when guys ask their significant other to “hide the goods” like that. I’ve always been extremely proud of being the one who bangs the neighborhood hottie, obviously I enjoy showing her off… Like “watch all you like and seethe in envy, ’cause I’m the one drilling those holes tonight”, amiright?

The bafflement is probably because you're looking at it the wrong way: you're concerned with the feelings (envy) of others so as to be gratified by them--but you don't see that letting those people oogle your girl up that way is sharing with them a privilege she would (if she is possessed of a healthy female mind) only allow you. That is to say, she'd normally not like it if some stranger was undressing her with her eyes, but would love it if you did--with that disposition being an invitation toward the real deal.

This is not, before any of the aforementioned stickerpusses wax effeminately whiny over it (they did in the comments of Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman, over the MC--after finally growing a spine--moving to protect the girl that's his), some advocacy of the Muslim niqab mandate or anything like it; rather, it's simply a statement of fact: the desire to share one's woman with another male, in any way, comes from the mind of a male inclined toward cuckoldry--his own.
