Nice pick up, I read this a while ago on batoto but it was discontinued, first chapter got me curious at the time, can't wait for ch2.

For anyone curious about the series, the light novel is translated up to volume 12 at skythewood.blogspot.com , and the 13th volume was just released within a week of this posting. Manga and anime versions take a really long time to catch up with the source material, so it's worth it to check out if you want more.

This ain't it chief. Maybe one day it will have a complete (for real) adaptation worth reading but alas, today is not the day. Real shame too because I like this concept even thought it not something completely original.

Public Service Announcement to manga readers: the novel is fantastic. The manga only reaches up to the end of the novel's volume 2, and it got consistently better afterwards, with many likeable characters, innovative yet believably grounded strategems, astute observations of politics, dramatic battles and intrigues, and plenty of rom-com to lighten the affair. Regis in particular really comes into his own as a main character and a grand strategist (don't let the timidity and cuteness fool you, he's a dangerous political philosopher that one).

Absolutely go read it. And maybe go bother (lol) Skythewood to keep translating it when new volumes come out.

P.S. Altina a cute, Clarisse best girl*, and late entry Fanrine is surprisingly likeable.
