There’s also the fact that the pianist was an acquaintance of the mom and the CEO, and that she died exactly 15 year before the story, and we know that mc is 15… Oh dear

So we've seen this premise before - sheltered girl and supportive boy romance series. This one takes it a step further adding in the music layer and suspicious musician mystery clearly involving the woman who died, the girl's dad, and MC's mom in some capacity.

I don't think this series would be worth reading if that happened, since it's a romance, but there's DEFINITELY some sus shit going on. Either the dad was involved with the dead woman romantically and Junna is their daughter OR MC's mom was the dead woman's friend and Junna's dad left the dead woman for her mother and MC's mom hasn't forgiven him for it (maybe the woman committed suicide, maybe not). Either way, there's something going on and there's some animosity between MC's mom and Junna's dad, with her trying to walk out mid speech.

Exactly what I came to type.
It really seemed like being set up for her being the dead musician with the father of the ojou-sama having an unrequited love for her.
If that's too far fetched then she atleast has a connection.
The story also set up a love rival already too, being the vocalist friend.
