Not a confirmation per se, but it's pretty suspicious to me how she had a memory she was trying to suppress, and her childhood friend willingly took the fall for it. And of course, what you mentioned re: him not wanting her to remember.

I suspect female MC had written it herself, but then again, I suck at little deets, so I can also be wildly wrong. XD

So that's why MC's mother was so suspicious. She didn't object and question MC when MC told her mother that Tenshi transferred to her school. Well if I'd known a killer was in my daughter school, I'd at least protest to her school and restrict her going out. It's extremely clear that the mother's feeling guilty.

There's been no signs of any mysterious other person who might have done it being on the scene. But neither of them would kill sensei, so it's going to turn out that one of them, presumably her, was doing the equivalent of playing with matches and accidentally started a fire, and there was no murder at all.
