Read through this over the past few days and I could not believe how many comments blamed Hara for the affair or were calling her a whore in the past chapters. The context that Kurosawa forced himself on Hara who was still not over her long term boyfriend cheating on her came way later but they still seemed to take his side in the affair. Just seemed so odd since Hara is portrayed as the cutest 32 year old ever and Kurosawa is sinisterly lurching over her shoulders and even when he's with his wife and kid he's just thinking how he can have sex with Hara again.

Yeah, I remember seeing that too years ago when those early, contersival chapters came out and how people completely lost their shit. In general people or should I say dudes, are very not forgiving if a female character has any sexual relations, regardless of circumstances/reasons, with [male] characters outside of the main character [who is often a self-insert for the audience].

Yeah it sucks, they should have definitely broken off all other relationship at the beginning and could have avoided less hurt for everyone. But I guess its better now than later and not staying in a relationship that just isn't real love.

Curious on why not for Kaori

Idk if it’s right cuz I’m not a great critic thinker but I think Kaori considers him like a marriage material like just someone to marry but Egawa wants just a good and deep relationship and I don’t like that manga describes women as if they just seek someone to marry nothing else once again that’s just what I felt criticizing is not something I’m good at
