New chapter ~ Thanks EH scans. ?

So this is the realization of their plan in Jam & Festival chapter huh, nice. Also those two basin sistem reminds me of mizubune that commonly used in people house in gujo hachiman.

@Thiron That sounds like a nightmare to me. I already have to wear swimming googles or else I won't be able to see at all through the tears.

Every chapter with Hakumei stuffing her little face with food is a good chapter

You'll do well to remember this Hakumei - whenever you get men involved in something, they always end up going overboard with it and give you more then you asked. We can't help ourselves.

I loved using half a piece of bamboo as a form for the oven arch--and then just burning it to get it out of the way. I bet it's similar to a full-size-people technique.

Was anybody else intrigued that Iwashi uses a Zippo-style lighter as opposed to a match, stove ember, etc? I didn't think they'd be practical for the era, but the design is actually fairly simple and they've been around since the early 1900s (more or less since their flints were invented).

@Harvester As a smoker, I am.
It's a great detail because it's one of the few lighters who could fit in a paw and be ipothetically used by a smoking animal
