I really love the three-dimensionality in this series, and the use of verticals and perspectives from both above and below the typical frame of reference. So many worlds are ultimately really "flat", everyone spends most of their time in a plane even if it gets lots of greebles to disguise it. Really refreshing to see an author make full use of major size differences amongst characters like this. Also has a really organic feel, with all the chaos and warm touches that a real lived-in place would develop. Really great stuff. Pity the official is paper only with no ebook, hard as that is to believe in 2021 .
