Yepp I can vouch for that lol, the library in my nearby business district actually has Hakumei & Mikochi and I could bike for like 15 mins to borrow it if I wanted to. This is quite a known series for local libraries to have

Im always fond of this chapter (i have the official too lmao- I just like it a lot and I like reading alternate translations!). I always get the sense maybe the bird was just worried about its rider, especially with that heavy rain.

They never mentioned it in the manga, but in my opinion, I think Fufuratou chickened out and jumped off the bird, hence the opened parachute. And Garou was angry about it that's why he refused to be his ride that day.

I really like how larger birds are treated in this manga. They're pretty much dragons to the smaller folk.
