How old are they even. I think they mentioned it before but I literally don't even remember. I think I vaguely recall being like "Dr Heo is younger than I thought" but I could very well have thought he was 50.

Anyways, is that Child Experimentation Lab money? That sure has some implications of what could have happened

No, it can't be. Dr Heo had never experimented on children till Long stole his research on mice to do that. And when they worked on the EEH project (changing hair and skin colour), the trio were already adults and working with him on mice. In fact, I think before Dr Heo was framed by Long and had to fake his death, the only child that had ever been experimented on was Hana. The only started mass experimentation after that.

Tbf, Dr. Heo feels like... a pushover? I don't think he wants to deal with Lala, but he doesn't even put a stop or a distance between them (he tried when they were separating their ways a couple of times, but Lala is obsessive persistent in her (and the twins') actions). At this point, he might be just following with the flow life threw things right off at him (especially since Hana re-entered his life), because he doesn't have that much of a choice for survival.

I mean, I feel like he was a little different when he was homeless. But I bet it was because he freed himself from his identity as Heo Yoon. Other kind of needs and all that (also, not being pushed for his works and other duties) It could be that it was easy to adapt how he was when he was creating a new identity, maybe?
