It's odd to say, but it felt like nothing moreso than reading something from Aoyama Gosho—between bits of the art style, the number of sharp twists, ladies kicking ass, and last but not least, one or two massive improbable leaps of deduction that turn out to be correct.

It's actually pretty awesome, though. I was doing something else while I was reading this, because the internet was being spotty, and so I got totally blindsided by the "oooh, that's what's going on" moment.
