Those coworkers of hers are something alright. When they're at the "social thing" (page 5) one of them orders shrimps&mushrooms "al ajillo" - which means with garlic. Maybe it's different for Japan, but due to the strong odour of garlic I wouldn'tt really order something like that if I'm out socializing. If it's just relaxing with close friends sure, but it didn't really look like that to me.

Another thing, Kanato didn't tell her the name of the pub, right? I wonder why?

Hm, I guess it makes sense. I mean, she goes out drinking anyways, but her worst excesses seem to have happened when she was with Shiina. Plus she never explained to her family what she is looking for. I guess as far as plot contrivances go, this is fine
