I sincerely loathe Yuriko's greed and indecisiveness. She should choose either her career or the MC, can't have both it's nonsense. She's not a bad person but she's literal heartache for MC, road to heartbreak.

Why? Cause he's going to have to wait YEARS or more than a DECADE, until they're in their 30s or so to even think about having a public relationship, unless she suddenly decides to graduate.
They have to not meet at all, because at every opportunity they do, a fan or someone else might take a picture of them and post it online and result in the most insane of backlashes you can imagine(common in Asia BTW), which would ruin her career and force her to graduate or have them split apart entirely as long as she's in that business to not allow for rumours to hang around them.
Ya boi would be totally screwed in that scenario.

Idol industry in Asia is the most fucked up regarding relationships, anything about them is followed, shared, explored, kept under watch and what not else. Which is why relationships are banned, cause the fans are mostly batshit crazy people who change their likes and dislikes at the drop of a hat, because they can't "monopolize" their favourite idol or whatever nonsense.

I hope they destroy her ship pretty quick, instead of us having 100 chapters of unrealistic, indecisive bullshit, would rather have other contenders than her in the long run.

That said, Ranko better not be producing some toxic cooking, as she's already proved she managed to make a normal-ish bento for someone who doesn't cook often at the very beginning(Chapter 2). That trope blows and devaluates the female characters for whatever comic relief the author thinks he's providing. It's not cool fam.
