I couldn't really stand S2 with its sappiness and that the appearance of the new girl was too masculine (it's to the point people mistook her for male, as the other comments pointed out). Also it felt like she was too obsessed with the main girl for no reason. Lastly, the ending will make a LOT of you guys not happy. I really only enjoyed season one as a result.

Bringing up the fact that a character is too masculine in GL is screaming "butch women shouldn't exist". People who are automatically assuming a GL isn't GL anymore because a masculine girl enters the story need check themselves.

This is wild. Lesbians of all kinds exist and I quite like the representation for masc women. There's no need to get rid of it because some readers can't tell their heads from their ass.
