It isn't very long after this he enslaves a bandit chick to be his seggs toy. But basically, the book is an adventure series as well as a seggs series, like Reincarnated Carrier... And we are early in the prologue (party members not introduced yet). This pacing is glacial compared to the book.

The karma thing is simple. His powers don't work on innocents, he must torment villainous women. This sets up a theme...

Thanks for the scanlation.

I sure the translation could be partly to blame, but just as easily could be the author being intentionally vague so they have broader leeway when using it in the story.
That is just how people do skill description nowadays. I play some gachas and I type "character-name kit razor language" in google sometimes because they can't seem to explain in a clear way the effect of the skill without using 30 lines and 3 names of effects that are longer than if you just said their effects. Can't count how many times I pulled a character just to discover the kit works a little differently because of ambiguous wording too. I sometimes change the language of the game to see if the description is better in other languages. Even the translation is bad sometimes, there was a character that had healing in the kit but in my language it didnt say that in the skill

Pg 18, lol: 4rd.
That skill is confusing as hell. 😵
A skill that upgrades the other skills, put simply. Even without that, it's fairly easy to understand: Use the energy of the souls of those you've killed as a debuff on your current target. The purification is iffy to me but I'd guess the Karma Curse is gonna be used to remove the princess' hate of other-worlders. Effect 5 just sounds like not Gudao can't just abuse the skill which is fine since he obviously wants a princess sex slave.

Must be hard playing games anymore. Not only is that shit vibe coded, but most of the content of the game itself is shat out via LLM promt.

Yes, yes... I know it hasn't quite gotten that bad, ... yet. But corporate and their investment bros are sure pushing hard.

This group has had questionable quality control for several years now.

Some of their series are decently well translated, others make you feel like you just had a stroke while reading.
