Let me provide some context. So on page 8 Ikura says "一緒にパキろ一よ". Which basically translates to "let's paki together".
Pakiru means to take over the counter medication in order to get high (and you have to OD to do that). Paki is short for the SSRI antidepressant Paxil (パキシル) which is the where the origin of Pakiru is from. But these days it can mean other drugs like cold and flu medication as well.

Because when everyone is wary of you because you’re homeless, you start to enter a cycle. The only people who see you as a human being advise you to take drugs to numb the pain. Then people see you take drugs and go “of course a homeless person would become a junkie”

It’s a cycle that will only end when we know better.

They're fairly common, they want to drag others down with them for comfort more or less.

Yep, its not that they want to help, but drag you down to your level. As an equalizer. Its not outright out of evil motives, but selfish ones. So they have a "friend". If they would get back their life together, they would leave you, because theres no common ground anymore.

The only way to fix that if you want to stay with that person, is to both get it together or if you dont mind, fall into the abyss together.

Edit: Just to prove the point, her friend was devasted on page 10 after second FMC left her.
