Because you just watched a girl who strived so hard for everything got homeless and is now taking her first step into alcoholism. If this is real life, it will be depressing as fuck and will be a short step to her going down into the alcoholic rabbit hole

I still remember the last phone call with my aunt wishing her the best after she was sent to hospital and replied with a weak voice. 2 weeks later she died of liver failure.
