Hoping for more info on if she even still has a husband next chapter but knowing this manga it'll probably still not clarify her situation

I’m not completely sure either but I think the implication is that he was cucked by not being the partner she had the kid with and that he (maybe?) is thinking “it should have been me”.

It would be rough seeing the woman you loved with the kid another man put in her.

I don’t think the MC has realized they’re of her either, which is kind of tragic in a way. His friend clearly does know that though and it might be why he suggested that he ask he to pose for sketches. It might be more on the nose to say that the paintings look like Kyou did many years ago, which means they look more like the daughter right now. Awkward…

Kyou's been living rent-free in his head for 17 years and now she's living rent-free in his house.

I returned after many months and this manga is still shit:

No explanation or a hint of anything about her past.

Nothing about her husband.

Nothing about her daughter's past.

Guy is okay but he lacks motivation.

Guy is still some beta.

She still doesn't want to move her lazy ass to get an apartment and stop leeching off the guy's good will.

Yeah see you later just for the shit and giggles lol

Why are people saying she's married? I was assuming she's a single mother this whole time.

Our MC is also regressing to his teenager years, it seems, being embarrassed of his work in front of the girl he likes (as if painting nudes is this taboo thing in the year 2025).
Is it wrong the be sensitive to how other view your work? Especially if you draw almost exclusively nudes (or not even predominantly, just a decent collection of them). It's not taboo, but it's not one of the topics you would usually see someone galavanting around town professing their love for.

I honestly found it a bit weird because he has drawn her in the past, and they knew each other at university (and therefore, she knew what he was studying, likely has seen some other works and so on). At least, I think this was all established at that point. I wrote the comment quite a while ago, so I'd have to re-read the chapters and see how the timeline went.

It's not a very troublesome element, but I was making fun of the manga and also I genuinely dislike how the protagonists are portrayed, so I was cheeky with the recap.

I thought those were paintings of Kyou, but her reaction doesnt seem like it is? Maybe the author just has a specific type of female face he likes and they all look the same?
