Setting : france in monte cristo era, they have gun, in monte cristo story there is a duel where they duel 1vs1 using gun by stepping back in count of 10 and shoot , the one who make the faster shoot is the one who win, this manga also have gun duel, it was duel beetwen nobles if they are feel insulted by other nobles , they can use it to regain their honor and killing the person who insult him.
MC : mc have dark skin, he was from southern island, i think he was african or brazilian. He moved to france, i forgot his reason, is he a slave or moved there to find a better life. MC fall in love with this noble girl, she was middle class noble. Btw i read it in 2006 or 2008, i kinda forgot, my sister have the hard cover aka the physical book manga, it was licensed and translated in my country languange, so i think this manga was quite well known.....i don't know if this manga available on manga dex or any other manga web site, this manga is very very old , i want to read it again but my sister have thousand of manga and she put it in her warehouse room, finding it was quite hard and i don't have time for it.
