@Fuko It doesn't actually matter if they're related genetically or not, Everyone acknowledged Ryuu as the father. Even if they didn't it's irrelevant. See a good spouse loves their spouse's children as their own.

It only took 146 chapters to explain why he wouldn't play the piano to support his family.

@phoenixir...Ryuu isn't a good spouse though...he's pretty much scum.

A good spouse wouldn't put is family into bankruptcy to woo a third wife.

A good spouse wouldn't have then driven away one of his first wives because he was too worried about getting the third wife to accept him enough to allow him to bone her.

A good spouse wouldn't use jealousy as a tool to bring Koharu back after he pissed her off by basically telling her he owned her.

Is a man not allowed to have his demons? Is he evil becuase he was traumatized? No wonder Japan has a HUGE mental health problem...

They weren't bankrupt. They were just cash-poor. Stocks are an investment for the future and not to be sold off to deal with a short-term liquidity issue.

He didn't drive Madoka away, she quit because she found out she was unable to have children and didn't want to watch the others have children she could neaver bear herself. It worked out for the best because she's becoming a full-realized adult now, something she was not capable of before.

Koharu is an idiot when it comes to matters of romance and love. And at the time she had tremendous trust issues. To straighten a bent spine, one needs to apply constant pressure to bring it back to true. A man in love uses whatever tools he has in hand to mend a broken lover.
